A BIG THANK YOU TO WAL-MART!!

Thomasville Wal-Mart Personnel Manager, Laura Lohr (center), holds a check for $1,000 donated to Davidson County FHFH through matching funds from the Wal-Mart Foundation. Store Manager, Stuart Thomas (right), was on hand also to say "Thank you" to Chapter Coordinator, Henry Morris (left), for all the "Good Works" the FHFH program is doing for our area.

Wal-Mart is also helping to make a difference across our nation and locally through employees, volunteers, sponsorships for civic groups, and through Wal-Mart Foundation grant programs. The Big Box store also has a big heart when it comes to needs around them; one store at a time.


 

A BIG THANK YOU TO SAM'S CLUB!!

Winston-Salem, NC Sam's Club teams up with Davidson County FHFH to help feed the needy families of Davidson County, NC with meats by donating a generous gift through the Wal-Mart Foundation grant program. Club manager, Tony Street presents a check in the amount of $500.00 to DCFHFH Chapter Co-coordinator Henry Morris. Marketing manager, Ken Fleming, was instrumental in obtaining this grant for DCFHFH. Also pictured on far left is associate, Wilson Porter, says Thank you for this ministry program in feeding the needy.


 

LION HELPING LION!!

Lion, Henry Morris, who is also DCFHFH Chapter Coordinator presents a certificate to Lion, Mary McGuire signed by himself and FHFH National Director, Rick Wilson to say a big "Thank You" for her generous and considerate donation to help DCFHFH feeding ministry. The dollar amount that Lion Mary gave normally would be given by a business or corporate sponsor. This amount will go to feed 4,000 meat meals in Davidson County.
